What Was Getting in the Way

When I first reviewed Yumbite’s app and website, the core problem wasn’t a lack of features — it was that users weren’t sure how to navigate or complete key tasks. On both platforms, inconsistent visual hierarchy and unclear interaction patterns made flows feel heavier than they needed to be, leading to preventable confusion and friction. The design language was fragmented, and essential user journeys lacked clarity and cohesion.

Refining Clarity Through Structure & Intentional Design

The redesign started with simplifying and structuring the core flows — onboarding, discovery, and task completion — so they made sense before we ever touched visuals. I defined hierarchy rules, consistent spacing, and modular UI components that worked across breakpoints. By establishing clear visual priorities and simplifying layouts, the interface became easier to scan, understand, and interact with. The result was a cohesive design system and user interface that felt intuitive, modern, and aligned with Yumbite’s brand vision.
